About Me
Once upon a time, I ran ultramarathons. These days, the only thing my wife and I are running is a home filled with three kids—a high-volume, high-speed operation where the queries never stop and there’s no such thing as scheduled downtime.
I grew up in Central Virginia, where I developed a love for hiking and backpacking in the Blue Ridge Mountains—though at this point, the closest thing I've come to “backpacking” involves me carrying a couple crying kids up to bed. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2011 with a degree in Business Information Technology and since have worked in financial services, nuclear energy, government contracting, insurance and healthcare.
Professionally, I thrive on solving complex data problems with practical, no-nonsense solutions. Whether it’s performance-tuning a stubborn query, designing a cloud data pipeline, architecting an enterprise data model, or debugging a legacy mess, I simplify data chaos so businesses can move on to bigger and better issues.
At the end of the day, my mission is simple: build smarter, scalable data solutions and help businesses make sense of their ever evolving data.
